The first line of the rating is held traditionally by the domestic brand KAMAZ, the share of which was 36% of the total volume in the previous month of winter. In quantitative terms, this corresponds to 2.8 thousand units, which is higher by 50.9% than the result of March 2020. The second place is kept by another Russian manufacturer - GAZ. Its market size is significantly lower than that at KAMAZ, but it also showed the high growth (+ 46% to 762 units).
Swedish Scania followed with 623 purchased cars, which showed the best dynamics in the top five of leading brands (+ 92.3%). In addition to them, Belarusian MAZ (518 units; + 85.7%) and the domestic Ural (474 units; + 43.6%) also entered the TOP-5 of the cargo segment of the Russian market.
By the results of three months of 2021, there is also a positive trend in the truck market. Thus, the market volume during this time was 19.4 thousand units, which is higher by 11.6% than in January-March of the previous year.
