Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Alexander Morozov told the details of new products on the russian automotive market


In the near future, several electric vehicles will enter the russian market, among which the first will probably be a car project from Motorinvest LLC, supported by the administration of the Lipetsk region. Zetta electric car and the sensational three-door smart crossover Kama-1 are supposed to be launched later. For the production of the "Kama-1", "KamAZ" plans to build a special factory.

"KamAZ already has experience in the production of electric buses, and they are discussing the launch of the plant in 2024-2025," the deputy minister said. He explained that now an important document for the industry is being prepared for the release - on the implementation of the component development program. It will formulate the rules of state support for private companies investing in the creation of factories for the production of high-tech components. Morozov added that fuel cells plant, plant for the production of power electronics, and a battery cells plant will be built in the future as well.
