Every third purchased luxury car was represented by the Bentley brand (33 units), and every fourth - by Mercedes-Benz Maybach S-Class (24 units). But if the British brand shows an increase of 74%, then the German one has a decline (-8%). Also, in the previous month of summer, wealthy residents of our country bought 21 new Lamborghini cars (+ 24%) and 12 - Rolls-Royce (-43%). The remaining 8 luxury cars were distributed between Ferrari (4 units), Maserati and Aston Martin (2 units each).
According to the experts of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", by the results of 8 months of this year, the market of new cars of the Luxury segment in Russia is still experiencing a decline. So, during this period, its volume reached 748 units – lower by 14% than in January - August of 2019.
